  4. Spied from an unlikely spot gives interesting combination of eras. Town Hall such as that is a pleasant asset. The clock tower on ours in Newcastle au has been under wraps for months while the stone work is renewed. Local sand stone was often used in the early days, is appealing, but it is soft and erodes . julia
