I first noticed this large house on Stockport Road West, Bredbury in November 2009. It was empty and boarded-up.
It was that way until April 2011 when I noticed that the old house was being demolished.
The site was empty until September 2013 when work began on building a new house at the site.
Here is how it looked in January 2014.

Oh dear, what a waste , I far prefer the older building. That surely should have been renovated rather than a modern rebuild? A nice montage though Gerald.
ReplyDeleteAgree older one looked much BETTER

Nice old building. Looked comfortable.

it looks a lot the same to me since most buildings in Britain are built in red brick.

I think I preferred the old house.
ReplyDeleteI know the builder/owner - he's done a great job with it - you only have to compare with the monstrosity next door which is a bungalow that has acquired a second floor in a ridiculously ugly manner
