Chaotic, to say the least. They have done work on some of our streets, overhauling them massively, and this shot reminds me of that.
Looks like the construction season is just about to get underway. The "Under Construction" signs won't go away until next December.
Hope the construction, whatever it is, does not harm those trees, nor, worse removes them. It all looks very suspicious.
I hope those lovely old trees aren't in the firing line of that yellow contraption.
